05 FAQ
Questions, answered.
Still unsure? Write to hello@pulseacademy.in and a human will reply.
Do I need experience to apply?
Not for beginner tracks like Music Production Essentials or DJ Performance. For mixing and sound design we ask for two or three pieces of work so we can place you in the right cohort.
Are the fees really in INR?
Yes. Every program is priced in Indian rupees and includes GST. You can pay in full or split the fee into nine interest-free monthly instalments.
Can I study online?
Music Production, Songwriting and parts of Vocal Production run fully online. Mixing and Sound Design are hybrid, with lab weeks on the Mumbai campus. DJ Performance is on campus only.
How do scholarships work?
Scholarships cover up to 40% of the fee and are awarded on portfolio and need. Around 20% of every cohort receives support. Ask your advisor for the scholarship form during your call.
What do I need to bring?
A laptop, headphones you trust and a hard drive. Software licences for the core tools are included for the duration of your program. Studio gear is provided on campus.
What happens after I graduate?
You keep access to the alumni network, monthly listening sessions and our placement introductions. Many graduates return as guest mentors or collaborate with current cohorts.
