PULSE Academy started in a single Mumbai control room in 2016. Today it is a community of producers, engineers and performers who care about the work more than the hype.

02 Our story
Built in the room, not the boardroom.
PULSE began when a mix engineer and a sound designer got tired of watching talented people graduate without ever touching a real console. So they opened a studio that taught by doing.
No filler modules. No 300-person lecture halls. Just small cohorts, hard deadlines, honest critiques and the gear you will actually use in the industry.

Work over theory
You will finish tracks, mixes, scores and sets — not just sit through slides about them.

Feedback that is honest
Kind, specific and direct. Your mentor tells you what works, what does not and exactly how to fix it.

A network that stays
Alumni release together, refer each other and come back to guest-lecture. The cohort does not end at graduation.

Finish the record
A finished track teaches more than a perfect loop. Deadlines are part of the curriculum because the industry runs on them.
People over prestige
We take people who are curious and willing to work, not just those with perfect portfolios. Scholarships cover 20% of seats.
04 The campus
Six rooms tuned for truth.
Our Lower Parel campus is a working studio complex. Students track, mix and rehearse in the same rooms our mentors use for client work — with acoustic treatment designed by working engineers.

Two flagship control rooms
SSL 4000 and Neve consoles, Atmos monitoring and a mic locker built for vocals, drums and strings.

Vocal and production suites
Four writing rooms with treated booths, MIDI rigs and the same templates used in professional sessions.

Live room and DJ lab
A full backline for rehearsals, club-standard CDJs and a small stage for monthly student showcases.
